Some Scripture to encourage us all as we walk through these days. We at Eastminster are continuing to pray for our community, our nation and our world. May these Scriptures remind us all of the love and eternal assurance we have in Christ. You can use them for daily meditation and prayer as we continue to pray for God to heal our land.
Tuesday April 28
“Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you. I do not give as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid” (John 14:27).
Wednesday April 29
“Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you. He will never let the righteous fall” (Psalm 55:22).
Thursday April 30
“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. each day has enough trouble of its own” (Matthew 6:34).
Friday May 1
“You will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you” (Isaiah 26:3).
Saturday May2
“You who fear him, trust in the Lord – he is their help and shield” (Psalm 115:11).
Sunday May 3
“Stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong” (1 Corinthians 16:13b).
Monday May 4
“The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them” (Psalm 34:7).
Tuesday May 5
