Some Scripture to encourage us all as we walk through these days. We at Eastminster are continuing to pray for our community, our nation and our world. May these Scriptures remind us all of the love and eternal assurance we have in Christ. You can use them for daily meditation and prayer as we contiune to pray for God to heal our land.
Wednesday March 25
“When the cares of my heart are many, your consolations cheer my soul” (Psalm 94:19).
Thursday March 26
“Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord” (Psalm 27:14).
Friday March 27
“In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world” (John 16:33).
Saturday March 28
“Be still and know that I am God”(Psalm 46:10).
Sunday March 29
“I have loved you with an everlasting love. I have drawn you in with unfailing kindness” (Jeremiah 31:3).
Monday March 30
“Come to me all who labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28).
Tuesday March 31
“… You are my fortress, my refuge in times of trouble” (Psalm 59:16b).
Wednesday April 1
“I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength” (Philippians 4:13).
Thursday April 2
“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble” (Psalm 46:1).
Friday April 3
“But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint” (Isaiah 40:31).
