*Hymn of Praise  At the Name of Jesus

At The Name of Jesus At the name of Jesus every knee shall bow, Every tongue confess him King of glory now ‘Tis the Father’s pleasure we should call him Lord Who from the beginning was the mighty Word.
Humbled for a season, to receive a name From the lips of sinners unto whom he came Faithfully he bore it spotless to the last brought it back victorious when from death he passed.

In your hearts enthrone him; there let him remove All that is not holy, all that is not true: Crown him as your captain in temptation’s hour; Let His will enfold you in its light and power.

Wath for this Lord Jesus shall return again, With his Father’s glory, o’er the earth to reign For the day is coming when each knee shall bow All our hearts confess Him King of glory now.

Blake Hudson

Prayer of Confession

God of grace, we confess that we have elevated the things of this world above you. We have made idols of possessions and people and used your name for causes that are not consistent with you and your purposes. We have permitted our schedules to come first and have not taken the time to worship you. We have not always honored those who guided us in life. We have participated in systems that take life instead of give it. We have been unfaithful in our covenant relationships. We have yearned for, and sometimes taken, that which is not ours, and we have misrepresented others’ intentions. Forgive us, O God, for the many ways we fall short of your glory and hear us now, even as we confess our personal sins to you in silence.

Time for Silent Confession

Assurance of Pardon

Leader: I will sprinkle clean water upon you, and you shall be clean from all your uncleanness, and from all your idols I will cleanse you. A new heart I will give you, and a new spirit I will put within you; and I will remove from your body the heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.
All: Alleluia! Thanks be to God.

*Gloria Patri
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost; As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

*The Affirmation of Faith                                                                       Leigh Sain

The Apostles Creed

The Apostle’s Creed I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; He descended into hell; the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy catholic church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting. Amen.
