*Hymn of Praise                              O For A Thousand Tongues To Sing

O for a thousand tongues to sing my great Redeemer’s praise,

the glories of my God and King, the triumphs of his grace!

Jesus! the name that charms our fears, that bids our sorrows cease,

’tis music in the sinner’s ears, ’tis life and health and peace.

He breaks the power of canceled sin, He sets the prisoner free;

His blood can make the foulest clean; His blood availed for me.

Hear Him ye deaf His praise ye dumb, your loosened tongues employ

Ye blind behold your Savior come and leap ye lame for joy.

My gracious Master and my God assist me to proclaim

to spread thro all the earth abroad the honors of Thy name

Call to Confession                                            Rev. Blake Hudson

Prayer of Confession

God, the fact that we feel uncomfortable is evidence that we perceive the injustices in our world. We don’t ask you to help us hear the cries of injustice, but rather to give us courage to act against the forces of selfishness and pride that would alienate us from the work of wisely stewarding your good gifts. Teach us how to seek the full manifestation of your Kingdom on earth, which includes justice, mercy and humility. And as we embark on this important work, heal our lands, touch our families, and reveal your glory. We pray this in Jesus’ name, even as we confess our private sins to you in silence.

Time for Silent Confession

Assurance of Pardon

Leader: Remember these things, O Jacob, and Israel, for you are my servant; I formed you, you are my servant; O Israel, you will not be forgotten by me. I have swept away your transgressions like a cloud, and your sins like mist; return to me, for I have redeemed you.

All: We will return to you, O loving and redeeming God. All praise to you O God, for your unending mercy and favor. Alleluia!

*Gloria Patri
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost; As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

*The Affirmation of Faith                                                                       Leigh Sain

The Apostles Creed

I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; He descended into hell; the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy catholic church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting. Amen

Message        The Generosity of  Service   Mark 10:35-45                 Rev. Aaron Moore

Anthem       Canon in D Pachelbel                                                                Michael Wang

Prayer of Thanksgiving    This Is My Father’s World

This is my Father’s world and to my listening ears

All nature sings and round me rings the music of the spheres

This is my Father’s world I rest me in the thought

Of rocks and trees of skies and seas His hands the wonders wrought.

This is my Father’s world the birds their carols raise

The morning light the lily white declare their Maker’s praise

This is my Father’s world He shines in all that’s fair

In rustling grass I hear him pass He speaks to me everywhere

This is my Father’s world O let me ne’er forget

That though the wrong seems oft so strong God is the Ruler yet.

This is my Father’s world, the battle is not done

Jesus who died shall be satisfied and earth and heav’n be one.
