Hands of Hope is a ministry serving the needy in McDowell County, West Virginia, providing a hope by building relationships and reaching out to others with the love of Jesus Christ. Poverty in McDowell County is devastating, leaving many hopeless. Daily children go hungry; the elderly must decide whether to pay for food, utilities or medication; unemployment is rampant. Hands of Hope provides hope and direction to those suffering hardship and direction to churches and individuals willing to get involved. In addition to regular financial support, Eastminster sends mission teams to serve HOH every year. For more information, visit www.hohm.org.

This youth trip was led by Rev. Blake Hudson.

Team: Cathy and Laura DuBose. For more info: Contact Cathy DuBose (mtns2beach@bellsouth.net)

Opportunities are offered for people of all ages to share their faith, offer their services, perform manual labor and create friendships with many people in a global setting. Travel to the heart of Kenya to serve 3 orphanages supported by Eastminster, developing relationships with children and the adults who care for them. Witness the power and hope of Jesus Christ in a country laden with both blessings and challenges. This is our third trip back to support these vital ministries. Check out our blog from previous trips: Kenya Go With Us.
