Hands of Hope is a ministry serving the needy in McDowell County, West Virginia, providing a hope by building relationships and reaching out to others with the love of Jesus Christ. Poverty in McDowell County is devastating, leaving many hopeless. Daily children go hungry; the elderly must decide whether to pay for food, utilities or medication; unemployment is rampant. Hands of Hope provides hope and direction to those suffering hardship and direction to churches and individuals willing to get involved. In addition to regular financial support, Eastminster sends mission teams to serve HOH every year. For more information, visit

This youth trip was led by Rev. Blake Hudson.
